We proudly welcome and announce Michelle Sidor as the Director of Basketball at Downtown Sports Club in Mahwah, NJ. Sidor became a household name throughout the county and NJ State as one of the best high school basketball players throughout her career and for decades to come. In high school, Sidor was a dominant scorer, totaling 3,268 career points in her four-year career at Saddle River Day School. She established herself as Bergen County’s all-time leading scorer as well as the second-highest scorer in New Jersey history. Sidor scored double-digit figures in every game and averaged at least 26.0 points per game in her four seasons.  She led Saddle River Day to four of eight consecutive Saddle River Bergen County Championships, one Tournament of Champions finals appearance, and several State championships. Sidor was named to the 2019 Naismith High School girls’ watch list for the nation’s best high school player, selected as a three-time USA Today All-New Jersey first-team player, a McDonald’s All-American nominee, the NorthJersey.com Girls Basketball Player of the Year,  along with several school, league, and conference records that will stand for years to come.  

Sidor then continued her career with a full-ride scholarship to the University of Michigan, where she contributed to the team’s Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight appearances. She was also recognized for her hard work in the classroom and received Academic All-Big Ten 2019-2023. After completing her undergraduate degree in Business, Sidor continued her basketball journey at the Big East conference, finishing as a standout graduate player at DePaul University. Recognized for her exceptional shooting proficiency beyond the arc, Sidor was selected as one of eight women to participate in the prestigious 2024 College State Farm 3-point contest.

Michelle Sidor brings a wealth of Division I training, knowledge, and experience back to Bergen County as the Lead Basketball Trainer and Clinician for Private and Group Training throughout the summer and will be adding basketball clinics and camps throughout the fall and months ahead.  For direct contact, you can reach Michelle directly.
