MEET SHANNON FLATT
GYMRATZ COACH
Currently a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) in Madison, NJ, Shannon Flatt is maintaining a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a degree in Elementary and Special Education with Psychology. She is on track to receive her Master of Arts in Education in 2026.
A dedicated NCAA Division III athlete, Shannon Flatt has excelled as a member of FDU’s Field Hockey and Women’s Golf teams from 2021 to 2025. Building on her athletic achievements, she will take on the role of Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Immaculate Heart Academy (IHA) beginning in Fall 2025.
Shannon Flatt also has a rich background in basketball, having played at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ, and with the Gym Ratz AAU program for seven years. As a coach, she has contributed to the development of young athletes, coaching Gym Ratz AAU teams for girls in grades 2, 3, and 4 for the past two years.
With a passion for education and sports, Shannon Flatt is committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation of students and athletes both on and off the field.
